It is particularly well-suited for complex development challenges that are difficult to define precisely.
We combine the client’s expertise, LINK’s multidisciplinary design and development experience, and creative design to achieve goal-oriented co-development. Our work is based on guided workshops where ideas are developed, prioritized, and documented to support decision-making and further development. We don’t just facilitate—we actively participate in the ideation process, combining design, technology, and business perspectives.
Visualization is a central part of our work. We produce real-time sketches, concepts, and illustrations that make ideas easier to understand and speed up decision-making. The final results are documented visually, making them immediately usable for further development.

This approach brings to light existing solutions, competitors’ intellectual property protections, and trends in the technology field, allowing us to focus our development efforts in the right direction.
The analysis is based on patent data and technology sources, which are utilized with the help of AI. A key component of the process is the FTO (Freedom to Operate) analysis, which ensures that the chosen direction is legally feasible and does not conflict with existing patents.

ProtoHub
Prototyping
ProtoHUB is a development environment built for hands-on work, where ideas are quickly transformed into tangible, testable prototypes
Prototyping is a key part of creative design. At ProtoHUB, ideas and designs can be brought to life and tested in a tangible form.
In the workshop, we build mechanical structures, enclosures, and components, as well as assemble and fit parts made from various materials as part of product and equipment development. ProtoHUB brings together mechanics, electronics, and software. In the workshop, we build functional device prototypes, integrate electronics and sensors into structures, and test usability, ergonomics, and manufacturability.
Digital and physical prototypes are used in tandem to support decision-making. In addition to our own prototyping workshop, we utilize a network of partners for specialized manufacturing and further processing. ProtoHUB is used as a standalone development phase or as part of an integrated development project, and it supports risk management and controlled progress toward implementable solutions.
